Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking a Security Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy and maintain security infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments for a high‑profile Defence programme.

You will work with cloud hosting, networking, virtualization, containerisation and enterprise security tooling, collaborating with technical teams to deliver secure platforms.

This on‑site role in Frimley, Surrey requires Active SC clearance (DV preferred) and pays £675 per day.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance is required.
• Experience deploying security tooling across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Strong networking and Linux system administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure security tools across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Define infrastructure requirements (CPU, RAM, storage, network) for security solutions.
• Deploy tooling, manage VMs and container platforms, and ensure security compliance.
• Provide SME support during deployment and troubleshooting.
