Job summary

Addition in Farnborough is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a Defence & National Security programme in a highly secure environment. You will design, build, secure, and maintain complex infrastructures across Windows, Linux, VMware and cloud platforms.

The role covers ongoing design and optimisation, automation with Ansible/PowerShell/Terraform, and Secure by Design principles in collaboration with engineering and delivery teams.

Qualifications

Active UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is essential.
Hands-on experience in Defence, National Security or similarly secure environments is required.
Experience with Windows Server 2016+ and Linux distributions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Design, build, maintain and secure complex infrastructure environments.
Support Windows and Linux server estates across highly secure environments.
Work across VMware vSphere, vCenter and VCF virtualization technologies.
Support public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructure including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
Maintain, patch and harden infrastructure in line with security policies.
Support Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
