Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced Offload Controller to support a defence client on a 12-month contract in Stevenage. The role focuses on SAP-driven planning and offload task placement across development and production, ensuring timely execution and accurate data.

You will coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and external suppliers, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement while aligning stakeholders and delivery forecasts.

Qualifications

• Experience using SAP systems in a manufacturing/logistics environment.
• Strong planning and scheduling capabilities with demonstrated coordination across multiple functions.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, or Supply Chain roles within Defence & Security sectors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Release and manage work in SAP; ensure accurate delivery forecasts to customers.
• Support schedule adherence, inventory and delivery KPIs through efficient planning.
• Maintain precise records in Data Management System and process data for accuracy.
• Act as a bridge between Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and external vendors.
