Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Defence Sector Project Manager for our Nottingham team to support large-scale defence schemes for a Derbyshire-based client. You will be part of a fast-growing framework, contributing to day-to-day design team management and overall project delivery across RIBA stages.

The role emphasizes providing delivery leadership within a defence portfolio, coordinating programme, risk and change management, and facilitating collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successfully supporting components of large-scale defence projects across multiple RIBA work stages.
• Proven track record of successfully leading components of large/small scale design management or post contract experience.
• Experience of supporting design teams / technical disciplines or general resource management.
• SC level Security Clearance.
• Very good client care and communication.
• Flexibility / willingness to travel with accompanying overnight stays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to use and manage Common Data Environments.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day design team management at a delivery level across RIBA stages.
• Own core project management tasks through all RIBA stages.
• Facilitate programme, risk, and change management.
