Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking Project Controls Managers to support Defence projects across the Midlands, North and Scotland. Owing to the specialist and sensitive nature of the work, security clearance may be required.

The role involves leading the programme controls function, ensuring accurate plans, costs, safety, environment and performance reporting, and deploying controls resources effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and scheduling functions including schedule development and control.
• Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project controls expertise across Defence projects in Midlands, North & Scotland.
• Lead the programme controls function, monitoring plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting.
• Review new project proposals/remits and develop realistic, resourceable delivery plans.
• Identify resourcing requirements and liaise with planning to resolve issues.
• Provide efficient day-to-day reporting to Programme and Project Managers on plans, costs and performance.
• Monitor data input to cost and performance systems to meet data standards.
• Ensure Investment Plan compliance with the Investment Competence Framework.
