Job summary

Amentum, a global leader in engineering and project management, seeks experienced Project Managers to lead complex UK defence programmes from Bristol. You will drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence, and quality, while coordinating stakeholders and managing risks.

You will play a key role in delivering across disciplines, with on-site presence in Bristol 1–2 days per week and the remainder hybrid or remote, supported by a competitive package

Qualifications

• Significant track record delivering projects on time, within cost, and to quality constraints.
• Ability to operate autonomously with authority and build key relationships.
• Consultancy focus with ability to scope wider client opportunities.
• Expertise in P3M practices and their application across environments.
• Experience coaching and mentoring teams and individuals.
• Willingness to attain UK security clearance and residency in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply organisational policies, processes, and procedures.
• Support business case development and approval processes.
• Analyze and manage timely, cost-effective delivery of client projects.
• Influence client delivery through planning, monitoring, and reporting of performance.
• Identify assumptions and dependencies and manage risks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and management procedures.
• Coordinate services through engineering, project controls, commercial and financial support.
• Maintain accurate project records and history per policy.
• Capture learnings and apply continuous improvement in delivery.
