Job summary

Amentum is seeking enthusiastic Project Managers to deliver infrastructure and built environment projects within the defence sector across the South West region, including Bristol, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Reading and beyond. You will support planning, coordination, and execution of critical defence initiatives on secure estates and facilities, with exposure to high-profile programmes.

Role involves travel across the region, site-based work most of the week, and hybrid/remote working where project

Qualifications

• Significant track record delivering projects on time, cost, and quality.
• Ability to work autonomously and build key relationships.
• Consultancy focus with ability to identify and deliver client requirements.
• Expertise in P3M practices and their application in varied environments.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand and deliver in line with organisational policies, processes, and procedures.
• Support development and assurance of business cases as part of wider approvals.
• Analyse, develop, support, and manage timely and cost-effective delivery of client projects.
• Influence and expedite client delivery through planning, monitoring, and reporting of performance.
• Identify assumptions/dependencies and manage risks and remedial actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and management procedures.
