Job summary

Scale builds AI systems for decisions that matter. We’re seeking a senior commercial leader to drive UK defence and national security engagements, owning our UK plan and pipeline across MOD and related agencies, and developing direct relationships to shape opportunities from initial contact to contract.

Qualifications

• Experience selling into UK defence or national security sectors.
• Understanding of defence procurement frameworks and tenders.
• Ability to manage senior military and civil service stakeholders.
• Experience in building and leading commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial plan and sales pipeline for UK defence.
• Find, shape and close deals from first talk to contract.
• Leverage MOD and defence community relationships to win work.
• Navigate clearance and information-handling requirements.
• Hire and grow a small commercial team over time.
• Collaborate with product and delivery to ensure deliverable.
