Job summary

Aramark UK at Claro Barracks, Ripon, is seeking a Chef Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, lead a culinary team and ensure high standards. You will manage production, control wastage, and support learners within a dynamic catering environment.

The role requires relevant culinary qualification, DBS and security checks, with a focus on developing staff skills and delivering quality meals within a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Oversee day-to-day unit operations and lead kitchen team.
• Prepare meals, manage production and monitor wastage.
• Ensure training and onboarding of new team members.

Responsibilities

• Hot and cold food production for the deli grab & go and hot counter service.
• Organise and coordinate hospitality and allocate tasks to ensure recipes and Aramark standards are met.
• Accountable for stock flow and rotation of products.
• Placing orders, stock checks and back-office paperwork.
• Handle customer complaints as required.
• Direct and coach team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
