Job summary

Searchability is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead IT, software and data delivery within a secure UK Defence environment. You will manage schedules, risks, and finances while coordinating technical teams and suppliers to ensure successful delivery, including Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.

The role is based in High Wycombe or Farnborough with 2–3 days onsite per week, initially until March 2027. The daily rate is £770 via Umbrella, and active MOD SC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex IT, software and/or data projects.
• Strong project management across scheduling, risk & issue management, dependency & financial management.
• Experience managing technical teams and suppliers.
• Strong senior stakeholder management experience.
• Good understanding of SDLC.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Understanding of software release management.
• Knowledge of data platforms, data integration and enterprise software delivery.
• Experience operating within a fast-paced, multi-supplier environment.
• Understanding of Kubernetes and containerised applications.
• Knowledge of cloud-native technology delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex IT, software and/or data projects across a multi-supplier environment.
• Own project schedules, milestones, dependencies and delivery plans.
• Manage risks, issues and financial controls.
• Lead and coordinate technical teams and suppliers.
• Manage relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders.
