Job summary

TKMS ATLAS UK is seeking an Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Manager to strengthen ILS capability across current programmes and future bids. The role is based at Dorset Innovation Park, Winfrith, and supports the UK MOD and major prime contractors.

You will lead ILS activities, define strategies, manage WBS and schedules, and ensure outputs are delivered on time and within budget. A degree or equivalent, defence domain experience, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• A degree, HNC/HND in an engineering or science discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering ILS or supportability within defence or other regulated engineering sectors.
• Strong understanding of supportability analysis, maintenance planning, and through-life support.
• Experience working across the full product lifecycle, ideally including early-phase or bid work.
• Knowledge of defence standards (e.g. Def Stan 00-series) is desirable.
• Familiarity with tools such as PTC Windchill, OPUS 10, or Logistic Information Repositories is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, analytical approach with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading ILS activities across bids and programmes, including proposal writing and cost estimation.
• Analysing support requirements and defining appropriate ILS strategies and solutions.
• Developing and managing ILS plans and associated elements, including: Supportability Analysis, AR&M, Supply Support, Technical Documentation.
• Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and training delivery.
• Influencing product design to improve in-service supportability.
• Managing ILS Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), schedules, and deliverables.
• Ensuring all ILS outputs are delivered on time and within budget.
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and project teams.
