Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, the Defence, Government and Energy services arm ESS, is recruiting a Cleaner (Zero Hours) to support Defence operations on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week. You will dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and sanitise surfaces, working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning environments and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Flexible approach to working and reliability are required.

Responsibilities

• Working with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensuring surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Carrying out additional cleaning duties as needed, including quick spill cleanups.
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste, maintaining cleanliness protocols.
• Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies.
