Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Cleaner (Zero Hours) to support Defence operations on a permanent casual basis, with a 0-hour week contract. You’ll join a team delivering high standards of hygiene and safety, working in a hands-on role across a range of cleaning tasks.

The role offers relief coverage shifts and opportunities to grow within a large national employer. We value reliability, strong organisational skills, and a flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Hands-on worker comfortable performing cleaning duties.
• Flexible approach to shifts and duties.
• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop, and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows, and touchpoints regularly.
• Perform spill clean-up promptly and efficiently when needed.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste and recyclables.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies to maintain readiness.
