Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is hiring a permanent casual Cleaner - Zero Hours to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 0 hours per week.

You will work across Defence sites delivering high standards of cleanliness, dusting, mopping and sanitising touchpoints, with variable shifts and a flexible, hands‑on approach. We value reliability and a client‑facing attitude, and we offer opportunities within a large, values‑driven organisation.

Qualifications

• Brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on role experience is desirable but not essential.
• Cleaning experience in a similar role is not essential.
• Flexible approach to working and shifts

Responsibilities

• Keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Sanitise surface areas, floors, windows, and touchpoints regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, such as mopping up spillages.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.
