Job summary

Compass Group UK&I ESS is recruiting a permanent casual Cleaner - Zero Hours to join our cleaning and facilities teams contracted to 0 hours per week for Defence sites. As a Cleaner - Zero Hours you will help deliver high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across client environments.

You will dust, sweep, mop and sanitise, restock supplies, and support a hands-on, flexible team. Cleaning experience is welcomed but not essential; reliability and attention to detail are key.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience is welcome but not essential.
• Reliable and punctual with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to work independently as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Sanitising surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints regularly.
• Mop up spillages quickly and dispose of waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Work alongside cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe.

Please note: This role is contracted to weeks per year Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
