Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, ESS (Defence, Government and Energy services) is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams on Defence sites. The role covers 25 hours per week.

You will carry out dusting, sweeping, mopping and sanitising to a high standard, keeping all areas safe and hygienic for clients and customers, and restocking supplies as needed. The ideal candidate is practical, well-organised and flexible, with cleaning experience being helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensuring surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Performing additional cleaning duties as required, including quick spill clean-ups.
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste and maintaining waste areas.
• Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies.
