Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Electronics Requirements Manager to support a major defence programme within a highly regulated engineering environment. You will translate customer and system requirements into structured, traceable deliverables and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance and evidence throughout the lifecycle.

The role involves creating test specifications, verification strategies and compliance reports, with travel to customer sites in the South West as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured requirements management and traceability.
• Background in regulated defence or similar safety-critical sectors.
• Proven ability to develop test specs, verification strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with DOORS or similar requirements tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements capture, analysis, and management activities.
• Maintain traceability from customer requirements through design and verification.
• Develop test specifications and verification strategies.
• Produce compliance reports and documentation.
• Support regulatory and standards compliance activities.
• Collaborate with customers and multidisciplinary teams to resolve requirements.
• Assess impact of requirement changes and support change control.
• Contribute to project planning and governance.
• Promote best practice in requirements management and systems engineering.
• Ensure evidence of compliance is generated and maintained.
