Job summary

Actica Consulting Ltd is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to support Defence, government and critical national infrastructure projects. You will embed Secure by Design, manage cyber risk and deliver assurance across the lifecycle in a hybrid working pattern in Southwest England, with client-site engagement as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cyber security in complex environments.
• Conducting cyber risk assessments and providing security assurance.
• Strong understanding of enterprise ICT, cloud technologies and modern architectures.
• Apply Secure by Design principles throughout lifecycles.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong report writing, documentation and presentation skills.
• Deliver high-quality outcomes aligned to client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultancy assignments across Defence, government and critical national infrastructure clients.
• Provide cyber security and Secure by Design expertise to complex programmes.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments and security risk analysis for sensitive information systems.
• Advise risk owners and stakeholders on threats, vulnerabilities and risk treatment.
• Develop and maintain security assurance artefacts aligned to frameworks.
• Support security accreditation across system development and lifecycle.
• Define and scope security testing activities and communicate findings.
