Job summary

Actica Consulting is seeking a Security Architect to support UK public sector and defence organisations, helping secure nationally critical projects and ensuring security is embedded in delivery and operation.

You will analyse threats, develop security solutions, and research new technologies, while engaging with clients and delivering high-quality formal outputs on challenging timelines. A breadth of security expertise and SC eligibility are essential, with hybrid working from Guildford.

Qualifications

• A track record in security architecture for digital projects or programmes is essential, with experience within the Defence and/or UK Public Sector desirable.
• You must hold at least one security architecture qualification (e.g. CISSP, degree) to apply.
• The role requires broad, adaptable security expertise across multiple tech domains and environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct engagement with clients to understand cyber security threats, risk appetite and constraints.
• Identify security risks and appropriate countermeasures.
• Define and document security architecture to meet business needs and threats.
• Select appropriate security controls and allocate them to solution components.
• Provide assurance that solutions address cyber security threats.
• Support cyber security policy and processes, and client procurements.
