Job summary

Experis UK is seeking a Senior Technical Cyber Security Consultant to deliver consultancy across complex defence and government programmes. You will contribute to secure system design, assurance, and risk management while engaging with diverse technical and business stakeholders.

In addition to our client-facing responsibilities, you will support pre-sales and tender activities and stay current with evolving cyber threat landscapes and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering cyber security consultancy services.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with Security Assurance and Accreditation activities.
• Knowledge of JSP440, JSP604/453 and Secure by Design principles.
• Understanding of traditional infrastructure, cloud platforms and SaaS solutions.
• Experience with multiple technical and engineering teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cybersecurity and information assurance consultancy across complex projects and programmes.
• Support secure solution design, implementation and assurance activities.
• Conduct security assurance and accreditation activities.
• Assess organisations against frameworks and standards including NIST, CAF, Cyber Essentials and Secure by Design.
• Work closely with technical teams across infrastructure, cloud and SaaS environments.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide expert security guidance.
• Support business development, pre-sales activities and tender responses.
• Stay current with emerging cyber threats, technologies and industry best practices.
