Job summary

Babcock International in the United Kingdom is seeking a Commercial Advisor to join the Marine Commercial team. You will support strategic defence, maritime and engineering opportunities from early engagement through negotiation, mobilisation and delivery.

Work with Legal, Finance, Procurement and Programme teams to manage bids, contracts and governance, helping identify risks and ensure compliance across national security and international partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting commercial, contractual, procurement, bid or tender activities.
• Understanding of commercial terms, contracts and agreements.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supporting bids, opportunities and commercial activities through negotiation and mobilisation.
• Preparing and reviewing contracts, confidentiality agreements and tender documents.
• Identifying commercial risks and supporting governance and compliance.
• Maintaining accurate commercial records and contract data.
• Coordinating input across programmes and opportunities with internal stakeholders.
