Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Commercial Advisor to support bids, opportunities and commercial activities, including negotiation and mobilisation. The role involves contracts, confidentiality agreements and tender documentation, with focus on risk identification and governance.

The successful candidate will maintain contract data and collaborate with stakeholders across programmes, based at one of our UK locations (Bristol highlighted) with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting commercial, contractual, procurement, bid or tender activities.
• Understanding of commercial terms, contracts and agreements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders.
• Experience managing documentation, competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
• A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to work independently within agreed authority levels.

Responsibilities

• Supporting bids, business opportunities and commercial activities through negotiation and mobilisation.
• Preparing and reviewing contracts, confidentiality agreements and tender documentation.
• Identifying commercial risks and supporting governance, approvals and compliance activities.
• Maintaining accurate commercial records, documentation and contract data.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to coordinate commercial input across programmes and opportunities.
