We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Vale of Glamorgan to assist with the appointment of a Decorator, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £16.60 - £21.17 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating tasks to a high standard.
• Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, filling, and priming.
• Apply various finishes including gloss, emulsion, and specialist coatings
• Mix and match paints and finishes accurately to specifications.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of paint types, techniques, and surface preparation.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
