Job summary

WSP is seeking a site-based engineer to support decommissioning, demolition and remediation projects across the UK, with periods of travel and working away Monday–Friday. You will help set up and deliver projects under supervision, developing towards supervision and management with time and experience.

The role suits candidates with engineering backgrounds, demolition/construction management or health, safety and environment studies, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Engineering Consultancy or Industrial Engineering or site-based role.
• A degree associated to one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Construction / Demolition Management and/or Health, Safety & Environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend works/site briefings, meetings and workshops.
• Observe and report on contractors works.
• Assist in data gathering and surveying of new projects.
• Ensure adherence to technical, engineering and health & safety practices with training as needed.
• Communicate with clients, contractors and project team members.
• Provide operational assistance towards project delivery.
• Deliver tasks in a cost-effective and timely manner.
