Job summary

WSP is seeking a site-based engineer to support decommissioning, demolition and remediation projects across the UK. The role focuses on monitoring operations, data gathering, and working with project teams to deliver safe, compliant site activities.

The successful candidate will require a UK driving licence, willingness to travel domestically and possibly internationally, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients, contractors and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Engineering Consultancy or Industrial Engineering or site-based role.
• A degree associated to Engineering, Construction / Demolition Management, or Health, Safety & Environment.
• Full UK driving licence (essential to the role).

Responsibilities

• Attendance of works / site briefings, meetings and workshops.
• Observation and reporting of contractors works.
• Assist in the data gathering and surveying of new projects.
• Adherence to best technical, engineering and health and safety practice.
• Communicating with clients and contractors and supporting the project team.
• Operational assistance towards the delivery of the project.
• Delivery of tasks in a cost effective and timely manner.
