Job summary

G MASS Consulting is seeking an experienced Decision Focus SME / Technical Business Analyst to support a Lloyd's Managing Agent within its Technology function. The consultant will serve as the internal subject matter expert for Decision Focus, providing functional and technical oversight to maximise value from the platform.

The role requires hands-on configuration knowledge, critical assessment of current implementations, and the ability to challenge both stakeholders and the vendor.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with Decision Focus essential.
• Experience in a Lloyd's Managing Agent or London Market insurance environment.
• Understanding of governance, risk, compliance and assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for Decision Focus, guiding platform use.
• Review implementation and identify gaps between functionality and requirements.
• Understand how the platform supports governance, risk and compliance.
• Provide challenge around configuration, data flows, integrations and changes.
• Engage with Decision Focus vendor as intelligent customer on configuration vs product limits.
• Assess new modules and functionality for suitability, value and impact.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into functional and technical specs.
• Evaluate options considering architecture, integration, cost and maintainability.
• Support design and delivery of enhancements, integrations and changes.
• Understand how Decision Focus interacts with wider tech, data and control env.
