Job summary

G MASS Consulting is seeking an experienced Decision Focus SME / Technical Business Analyst to support a leading Lloyd’s Managing Agent within its Technology function. The successful candidate will act as the organisation’s internal subject matter expert for Decision Focus, providing functional and technical oversight of the platform and ensuring maximum value from the investment.

The role requires deep knowledge of Decision Focus configuration and strong ability to challenge current

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with Decision Focus.
• Experience in Lloyd’s Managing Agent or London Market insurance.
• Ability to translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Strong governance, risk and controls understanding.
• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar.

Responsibilities

• Act as the organisation’s subject matter expert for Decision Focus.
• Review the current implementation and identify gaps between functionality and requirements.
• Understand how the platform supports governance, risk and compliance.
• Provide challenge around platform configuration, data flows, integrations.
• Engage with Decision Focus vendor as an intelligent customer.
• Assess new modules and functionality and advise on value and impact.
• Translate business, risk and regulatory requirements into clear functional/technical specs.
• Evaluate options considering architecture, integration and maintainability.
• Support design and delivery of enhancements and wider platform changes.
• Understand how Decision Focus interacts with the wider technology, data and control environment.
• Build relationships across Technology, Risk and other functions.
