Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd in Worksop is seeking a Climate Change Officer to support decarbonisation projects and help residents improve home energy efficiency across the district. The role centres on delivering a domestic retrofit programme and helping turn climate targets into practical actions.

You will work with colleagues, contractors and partners, analyse data to inform decisions, and communicate complex information clearly to non-specialists.

Qualifications

• A degree or A-levels / equivalent qualifications with relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of climate change, sustainability, carbon reduction and building retrofit.
• Understanding of domestic retrofit and energy efficiency.
• Experience using data to support decision-making.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent organisational skills managing large datasets and multiple tasks.
• Ability to analyse complex information and communicate to non-specialists.
• Strong IT skills, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of decarbonisation projects and retrofit initiatives.
• Develop and implement climate change strategies and action plans.
