Job summary

Colas Ltd in the UK seeks an Energy & Carbon Advisor to drive decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and carbon management across its business units and manufacturing sites. You will work with operational teams, bid teams and sustainability specialists to deliver practical carbon reduction strategies.

The role focuses on carbon accounting, PAS 2080, energy performance, and reporting, with analysis using Excel and Power BI, and involves training and supporting bids and client reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge in carbon accounting, whole-life carbon assessment and energy performance.
• Familiarity with PAS 2080 and greenhouse gas reporting.
• Experience with Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and report carbon and environmental data across projects and operations.
• Assist with lifecycle carbon assessments and PAS 2080 implementation.
• Develop carbon management plans and reduction roadmaps.
• Create dashboards and tools to inform performance improvement.
• Support bid teams with sustainability information and client reporting.
