Job summary

COLAS ROADS UK is seeking a proactive Carbon & Energy Advisor to drive decarbonisation and energy efficiency across UK operations, reporting to the Environmental Manager. You will work with operational teams, bid teams, and sustainability experts to improve carbon performance, support PAS 2080 implementation, and deliver robust reporting.

The role requires strong data skills (Excel, Power BI), excellent stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge in carbon accounting, whole-life carbon, and energy performance.
• Familiarity with PAS 2080 and greenhouse gas reporting.
• Excellent data skills and ability to translate data into practical actions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and report carbon and environmental data with operational teams.
• Support lifecycle carbon assessments and PAS 2080 implementation on projects.
• Develop carbon management plans and reduction roadmaps.
• Create dashboards and tools using Excel and Power BI; maintain baselines.
• Support bid teams with sustainability information for tenders.
