Job summary

Hewland Engineering Ltd in Maidenhead is expanding and inviting applicants for a Deburring/Finisher Technician to support Production and deliver precision components for motorsport and automotive projects. You will perform deburring, inspect work under magnification, read engineering drawings, maintain quality documentation and keep a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Precision deburring of metal components using various tools and techniques.
  • Checking and deburr work under magnification.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Cleaning and protecting of components following deburr activity.
  • Checking and completing the necessary quality documentation, paper and electronic.
  • Taking responsibility for work area.
  • To assist in other areas of production within capabilities as and when required
  • Flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of the business
  • Adhere to all Quality, Health + Safety and Environmental Policy’s, Manuals, Objectives, Process, Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment in line with company’s Health and Safety procedures.
  • Carries out regular TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) Checks.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, notifying H&S when they need replacing
  • Actively participate in the Hewland Think Smart/Safe program.

Due to Hewland’s continued expansion and strong product portfolio across both motorsport and future automotive, we are looking to recruit Deburring/Finisher Technician to support Production

Duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
