Position
Are you a detail-driven administrator looking for a new challenge?
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with knowledge of data protection regulations to join the Debt and Litigation team in this newly created role of
Debt Recovery and Compliance Administrator.
The Debt Recovery and Compliance Administrator will be responsible for managing data compliance activities and responding to Data Subject Access Requests. This role involves ensuring adherence to data protection regulations, implementing compliance policies, and conducting regular audits to safeguard sensitive information. You will help uphold our compliance integrity, manage key documentation, and collaborate across departments to protect sensitive information and support effective enforcement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for debt recovery and litigation queries.
- Handle Data Subject Access Requests in line with legal standards.
- Ensure company-wide compliance through cross-functional collaboration.
- Carry out administrative tasks including PCN closures and driver nominations.
- Review and approve litigation witness statements.
- Investigate complex cases and escalate where necessary.
- Manage insolvency documentation and enforcement updates.
- Contribute to internal policy development and updates.
- Support DPO complaint investigations and responses.
- Stay current on data protection legislation.
- Assess litigation risks and recommend cost-effective strategies.
- Monitor changes in PCN enforcement regulations.
Requirements
Who you are
- You are a detail-oriented individual with knowledge of data protection regulations, such as GDPR.
- Experienced in administrative tasks, including document preparation, data entry, and responding to internal and external queries.
- You ensure effective communication and are proactive, accurate, and committed to staying updated on compliance best practices.
- You can analyse data to make considered decisions that positively impact the business.
- You will be a person who will want to take an active role in the Debt and Litigation team, providing support to both the team and team manager.

Other information
Salary: £25,396.80 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Location: Newton Abbot - this role has hybrid working flexibilities.
