Job summary

Drive Bristol North is seeking a Compound Operative to coordinate and move vehicles across the dealership site, ensuring timely, safe handling and supporting customer satisfaction.

You will manage vehicle flow, fuel cars, position stock, and help with site upkeep. A full UK driving licence is required; reliability, independence, and a professional manner are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence – held for a minimum of 2 years, clean with no points.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using dealer management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and move vehicles around the dealership to support operations.

Job description

Drive Bristol North are looking for a Compound Operative to join their team due to the continued success within the dealership.

This position is centred around the coordination and movement of vehicles within a busy dealership environment. You will be responsible for ensuring cars are relocated across the site in a timely, organised, and safe manner, supporting both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Your day-to-day duties will include managing the flow of vehicles, fuelling vehicles, positioning dealership stock, and handling customer cars with care and attention. Alongside vehicle logistics, you will contribute to the overall presentation and functionality of the site, assisting with routine upkeep tasks and maintaining a clean, well-organised environment.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and confident working independently. A professional and approachable manner is essential, as you will regularly engage with both customers and colleagues. A full, clean driving licence is required for this role.
