Job summary

EY in London seeks an Assistant Director within the Deal Finance team of EY-Parthenon to drive client delivery across transactions and CFO priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will work across UK and global deals, influencing value creation and financial leadership at client sites.

The role requires extensive deal/finance experience from a Big4 or industry, ACA/CIMA or equivalent, and strong leadership and analytical capabilities for complex engagements.

Qualifications

• Extensive broad experience from transactions/finance function as a consultant with a Big 4 or management consultancy firm.
• Qualified accountant – ACA, CIMA, or internationally recognised equivalent.
• Strong academics and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated analytical capabilities across deal workstreams.
• Experience as a change agent in previous roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in deal origination, including pitches and presentations to sell work in a transaction environment.
• Lead delivery as Assistant Director to support the engagement partner and the team.
• Advise on merger/integration challenges and CFO-focused priorities.
• Provide analytical support across the deal lifecycle, including P&L optimization and cost-out models.
