Job summary

Royal Association for Deaf People is seeking a Services Support Worker in Essex on a permanent part-time basis (16 or 22.5 hours per week). Salary £26,227.50 full-time equivalent.

There is also a casual sessional option at £13.45 per hour for flexible hours. Join TeamRAD and deliver invaluable one-to-one and group support to deaf people in their first language, typically BSL, helping them build skills for independent living.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group support to deaf people in their first language, usually British Sign Language (BSL) or via specialist communication systems.
• Support deaf and deafblind people to develop skills needed to live independently.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment, with training and wellbeing prioritised.
