Thales UK in Crawley seeks a DDCC Head of Engineering to lead software, systems, AI and safety-critical delivery across cortAIx UK. You will steer engineering strategy and governance, delivering value from AI platforms and embedded solutions.

You will mentor Engineering Managers, establish standards, and drive performance, reliability, and security across teams. A UK Eyes Only clearance is required; relocation support is available and a competitive package is offered.

Qualificações

• Academic qualifications in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience in roles such as Engineering Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Software Engineering Manager.
• Background in Senior Systems/Solution Architecture in a relevant discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering managers, principal engineers, and software/AI engineers across DDCC.
• Define engineering standards, architecture principles, and delivery practices.
• Drive governance, risk management, and cross-team integration for platforms and AI initiatives.
• Ensure quality, safety, cyber assurance, and engineering metrics are tracked and improved.
