Job summary

Akkodis is recruiting for an AI/ML Engineer (SC Cleared) to design, develop and deploy secure AI solutions for autonomous and mission-critical systems. Salary up to 85,000 with benefits, hybrid working across Bristol, Cheadle, Glasgow, Reading or Crawley.

You will work across the full AI lifecycle from concept through deployment, enabling high-value AI programmes in defence and safety-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering AI/ML solutions in safety-critical environments.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Expertise in ML, DL, CV and LLMs.
• Experience with autonomous technologies and ROS 2.
• Experience taking solutions from concept to deployment.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, cloud technologies and MLOps.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.

Akkodis is currently recruiting for two experienced AI/ML Engineers to design, develop and deploy secure AI solutions for autonomous and mission-critical systems.

The Role

You will work across the full AI lifecycle from concept through deployment, helping deliver high-value AI programmes within defence and other safety-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI and ML solutions.
  Build machine learning, deep learning and computer vision models.
  Develop solutions using LLMs and emerging AI technologies.
  Support autonomous capabilities using ROS 2 and similar frameworks.
