RLDatix, London-based with hybrid working, seeks a Senior Engineering Director to own the QCS technology direction, overseeing software, data, architecture, and security. You will drive AI-enabled innovation and scale, shaping an API-first platform while mentoring leaders and building strong engineering capabilities.

The role emphasizes security, governance and delivery excellence, with a focus on attracting top technical talent and aligning with product strategy for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a senior engineering leader in a SaaS/tech business.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native architecture and Azure.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing engineering teams and translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Experience in regulated/security/data-sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the QCS technology strategy and roadmap across architecture, data, AI, security and platform capability.
• Embed AI into the technology strategy, operating model and culture to improve outcomes.
• Lead the Azure and architecture strategy towards an API-first platform.
• Ensure predictable delivery through CI/CD pipelines, automation and AI-assisted development.
• Act as technical authority to diagnose and mitigate risk and maintain security at scale.
• Lead and develop the QCS engineering organisation and talent pipeline.
