Job summary

Honeywell in Aberdeen seeks a DCS Engineer - Service to maintain, audit, configure, program, install/commission, upgrade and migrate Honeywell control systems including Experion PKS, TPS/TDC300. This is a hybrid role with three days in office and two days remote.

You will validate customer requests, manage relationships, plan migrations, and execute upgrades while ensuring Right and Fast Delivery. A background in electronics/automation with Level 2 CEAT and a UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in service engineering, preferably with DCS or SCADA systems.
• Experience with Experion PKS hardware and software, Hiway, TDC and TPS systems (LCN/UCN) and networking.
• Degree or equivalent apprenticeship in electronics, automation, control/instrumentation, cyber, or computer science.
• Valid UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the LSS (Life Cycle Service & Support) business and drive the Services business growth and profitability with customer satisfaction and safety record
• System upgrades and modifications (Installation/configuration/implementation & commissioning) of Honeywell’s product range including Industrial control & safety systems, 3rd party DCS Systems or SCADA products to meet customer specifications
• Maintain the customer equipment to the required standard regularly performs preventive maintenance and promptly intervene on maintenance needs
• System diagnosis: Diagnosis and escalation for rectification of issues in application software
• Knows customer’s site and contacts and uses Honeywell support network to provide excellent service and quality to customer and focuses on customer growth and development.
• Proven experience within service engineering preferably within DCS systems or SCADA products

We have an opportunity for a DCS Engineer - Service to join us at Honeywell, in Aberdeen, where you will be accountable for performing maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex and advanced Honeywell control systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC300). Your time will be spent validating customer requests, developing/maintaining/improving customer relationships, upgrades/migration planning and execution, all while ensuring Right and Fast Delivery. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

• Minimum one Level 2 CEAT certification
• Full UK driving license
