Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a DCS Engineer - Service in Aberdeen for Honeywell control systems. The role includes maintenance, upgrades, configuration, installation, and migration of Experion PKS, TPS/TDC300, and related equipment.

It is a hybrid position with three days in-office and two remote. You will support customer relationships, plan migrations, and ensure safe, timely delivery while leveraging Honeywell's support network to provide high-quality service across oil, gas, and process

Qualifications

• Proven experience in service engineering with DCS/SCADA
• Experience with Experion PKS hardware and software
• Degree or equivalent apprenticeship in electronics/automation
• Level 2 CEAT certification
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Be part of LSS and drive services growth with customer satisfaction and safety
• Perform system upgrades, configuration, commissioning for Honeywell control systems
• Maintain customer equipment and perform preventive maintenance
• Diagnose issues in application software and escalate as needed
• Develop strong customer relationships and support migration planning

We have an opportunity for a DCS Engineer - Service to join us at Honeywell, in Aberdeen, where you will be accountable for performing maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex and advanced Honeywell control systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC300). Your time will be spent validating customer requests, developing/maintaining/improving customer relationships, upgrades/migration planning and execution, all while ensuring Right and Fast Delivery. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the LSS (Life Cycle Service & Support) business and drive the Services business growth and profitability with customer satisfaction and safety record
• System upgrades and modifications (Installation/configuration/implementation & commissioning) of Honeywell’s product range including Industrial control & safety systems, 3rd party DCS Systems or SCADA products to meet customer specifications
• Maintain the customer equipment to the required standard regularly performs preventive maintenance and promptly intervene on maintenance needs
• System diagnosis: Diagnosis and escalation for rectification of issues in application software
• Knows customer’s site and contacts and uses Honeywell support network to provide excellent service and quality to customer and focuses on customer growth and development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within service engineering preferably within DCS systems or SCADA products
• Experience with Experion PKS Hardware & Software, in addition to Hiway, TDC, & TPS system including LCN, UCN, and Hiway equipment along with Networking
• Degree qualification or equivalent Apprenticeship Qualification in an area of Technology - Electronics, Automation, Control/Instrumentation, Cyber, Computer Science
• Minimum one Level 2 CEAT certification
• Full UK driving license
