Job summary

Legal & General Group in the UK is recruiting a Client Manager to lead the client relationship with a portfolio of DC clients (own trust, Master Trust and contract-based). The role supports Senior Client Directors and balances strategic oversight with operational delivery.

You will build trusted client partnerships, coordinate meetings with trustees and advisers, and ensure timely, high-quality reporting and responses while driving retention and growth of the DC & Workplace Savings business.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DC product solutions and marketplace is essential.
• Experience in corporate client relationship management for product providers or intermediaries.
• Understanding of administration/operational matters in DC pension plans.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for client meetings and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key client decision-makers and CRM records.
• Partner with Senior Client Directors on strategic accounts and coordinate client/trustee meetings.
• Ensure robust monitoring and quality assurance of client reporting and respond to queries promptly.
• Own client retention activities and mitigate at-risk relationships with stakeholders.
• Identify and progress new business, cross-sell opportunities, and support DC Distribution teams.
• Contribute to portfolio growth targets for L&G DC & Workplace Savings.
• Promote best-practice portfolio management and ensure fair customer outcomes.
