Job summary

Priory Hospital Roehampton in London is seeking a lead therapist to develop and oversee the DBT programme, working with psychiatrists, psychologists and nurses to deliver individual therapy and skills groups.

You will provide clinical leadership to the DBT team, supervise staff, monitor patient outcomes, and promote DBT-informed practice across the service, with focus on high quality, evidence-based care for complex mental health needs.

Qualifications

• DBT Foundation Training accreditation.
• Primary background as CBT or integrative therapist.
• Leadership capability assessed at interview.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the DBT programme at Priory Hospital Roehampton, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practice.
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to the DBT team, working with the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver and oversee DBT interventions, including individual therapy and skills-based group work.
• Ensure programme fidelity and team adherence across treatment modes.
• Support assessment, formulation, treatment planning and risk management for patients with complex mental health needs.
• Track patient progress through outcome measures and liaise with primary therapists.
• Contribute to clinical reviews, governance and service improvement.
• Help develop DBT-informed practice across the wider service through training, consultation and collaborative working.
• Promote a compassionate, recovery-focused therapeutic environment.
