George Stephenson High School is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team. This vital support role helps maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety across the school environment.

The role is 18.45 hours per week, 3.15pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday, with holidays to be completed during school opening times of 8am to 4pm. Salary is £24,796 pro rata, and the closing date is noon on Friday 9 October 2026.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a positive environment where students and staff feel welcomed and cared for. This role will involve working all year round with holidays to taken during school closure.
