Job summary

NatWest Group's Digital X division is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate Db2-based infrastructure, building secure, observable systems in line with product needs.

You will automate testing and deployment pipelines, collaborate with stakeholders, and help deliver robust housekeeping, backup and recovery strategies, while contributing to CI/CD improvements across the on-prem datacentre.

Qualifications

• Experience with Db2 database design and administration.
• Automation scripting in Python or Shell.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technologies to meet customer and architecture needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and support engineered products.
• Contribute to and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Support users and gather feedback to improve solutions.
• Deliver robust housekeeping, backup and recovery strategies.
• Advise on Db2 for z/OS design principles and best practices.
