Job summary

TESTQ Technologies Limited is seeking a Db2 system programmer to manage Db2 for zOS activities across the UK. You will ensure performance, integrity, and security of multiple subsystems while working with a team across geographies.

The role covers installing Db2 versions, maintaining tooling, managing Db2 connections, and implementing backup/recovery plans. Strong problem solving and adherence to GDPR are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or significant relevant industry experience preferable.
• Experience as a zOS Systems Specialist with Db2 skills.
• Db2 performance tuning and production support experience.
• Familiarity with GDPR and information legislation.

Responsibilities

• Install and test new versions of Db2.
• Continuous delivery of maintenance for Db2 and tooling.
• Support and management of distributed Db2 connections.
• Develop, manage and test backup and recovery plans.
• Monitor performance and ensure security and disaster recovery.
