Job summary

HR-CL Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent is hiring a Kitchen Porter to join a busy kitchen team. The role offers Monday to Friday daytime hours, giving you evenings and weekends free while staying within a steady weekday schedule.

You will be responsible for washing pots and utensils, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, adhering to hygiene standards, handling deliveries, and assisting chefs with simple prep tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven or potential strong work ethic and ability to work at a quick pace.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Team player who can follow instructions.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge is a bonus.
• Ideally possess a full driving license and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment by hand and dishwasher.
• Keep kitchen, floors and surfaces clean and tidy throughout shift.
• Follow cleaning schedules and food hygiene standards.
• Take in deliveries and store stock correctly.
• Empty bins and manage waste and recycling.
• Assist chefs with basic food prep when needed.
