Job summary

Jubilee Talent in Staines is seeking a Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to run daily kitchen operations for a busy garden centre restaurant. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional food while maintaining daytime hours.

Ideal candidates have Sous Chef/Head Chef experience, with a focus on stock control, food safety, and customer service. The role offers a competitive salary and a strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience at Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager or Head Chef level expected.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements in a commercial kitchen.
• Experience ordering and managing stock, and controlling wastage.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day kitchen operations and manage a team of chefs and kitchen assistants.
• Report to the Restaurant Manager and drive the business forward.
• Lead and develop the team to deliver high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, health and safety.
