ROSES 1951 in Doncaster is seeking a passionate, organised Chef to join our daytime kitchen team. You’ll help produce high-quality breakfasts, beautifully presented sharing platters and freshly prepared dishes served with genuine hospitality.

We value pride in work, consistency, cleanliness and attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen. The successful candidate will work Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with weekend availability as required, and contribute ideas for seasonal menus.

Qualifications

• Previous chef or professional kitchen experience.
• Passion for producing high-quality food.
• Creativity for contributing ideas for menu development and new dishes.
• Clean, methodical and organised approach to food preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of food safety and allergen awareness.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy services.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast menu to a high standard.
• Complete daily food preparation and prep for service.
• Assemble platters and menu items with exceptional presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organised workstation throughout the day.
• Follow hygiene, allergen and health and safety procedures.
• Minimise cross-contamination and manage stock rotation.
• Conduct quality checks on dishes leaving the kitchen.
• Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and daily specials.
• Work with the team to deliver smooth, enjoyable service.
• Maintain high standards of food preparation and kitchen cleanliness.
