Job summary

px Group's Wyke Agrichemicals Manufacturing Plant in Bradford seeks a Mechanical Fitter for day shifts on a permanent basis. You will maintain complex mechanical systems, support production, and ensure safe, compliant work practices across a high-hazard site.

You’ll work in a safety‑driven environment with on‑the‑job training, performance reviews and opportunities to develop technical competence within a leading chemical division.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience maintaining complex mechanical systems in chemical/process industries.
• Experience with CMMS systems such as SAP or Oracle EAM.
• Commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Support production and projects, ensuring work is safe and compliant with standards.
• Collaborate with other departments and contribute to shift planning.
• Assist with competency training and uphold HSE initiatives.
