Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is currently recruiting a Days Maintenance Engineer for a food manufacturing site in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. The role focuses on keeping plant and equipment running with a strong emphasis on reliability and engineering standards.

The successful candidate will carry out planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns to maximise uptime and efficiency. A multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias and Level 3 qualification is required.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title: Days Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £50,000 (OTE £56,000+)
Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days)

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.

This is an excellent role for an engineer looking to join a stable, well-established manufacturing business, working on a fast-paced site with a strong focus on reliability and engineering standards.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery. The successful individual will be tasked with responding to both pre-planned maintenance as well as breakdowns, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
• Electrical / engineering qualification (Level 3)
• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance capability
• Experience carrying out PPM and planned maintenance routines
• Ability to attend breakdowns in a timely manner and work to site standards
• Exposure to industrial electrical equipment such as: single phase, three phase, motors, relays, sensors, inverters (plus hydraulics/pneumatics/gearboxes beneficial)
